Understanding the Sequence
Getting Started
Start off with setting your intention by loading up all the relevant information in your working memory.
Setting your intention is usually done by taking a few minutes, and scanning (reviewing) all of the information that you want to work with as well as what the outcome looks & feels like.
Doing this loads up all the relevant information into your working memory and prepares you for the first command, “Contain this”.
The “Contain this” command will wrap all of the information that you scanned into your memory, enabling you to easily work with a large memory network for a longer duration of time.
This command also keeps you focused on the information and eliminates external distractions.
Use compress and extract to evolve your information.
The “Compress this” command will simplify your information by sorting out what is valuable and relevant to you.
The “Extract this” command will enable you to dig down into complex details so you can highly refine what you are working on.
You can continue doing these commands back and forth until you are ready to start wrapping up the sequence.
Use the Compress and Extract commands whenever you notice the momentum of energy slows down, feel overwhelmed, or start to struggle with what to do next.
Wrapping up the Sequence
When you have around 15-20 minutes left, you can do the Delete command to begin finishing up the sequence. After doing the Delete command, you will be able to review your work and have a much clearer picture for some last-minute edits and finetuning.
You can then do the “Energize this” command to pump more energy into the project, making it feel good when you focus on it.
Then you can follow up with an “Integrate this” command, which can be very grounding as it helps to close up the information you were working on.
Extra tips
Dealing with conflicting beliefs
At any point, while working through the sequence, if you notice that you have conflicting beliefs, you can use the “Dissect this” command.
The “Dissect this” command will remove the top layer of the conflicting beliefs and reveal the individual rulesets or connections supporting the beliefs, helping you find a resolution.
Make sure you aren’t hungry
Muscle tension while working
