Scanning Your Self

Scanning Your Self

When scanning a memory, the first and most obvious thing to scan is yourself.

However, your complete experience has many parts that make up the whole.

When scanning a memory, you can focus on one or more of these parts.

Your entire experience of the self is entangled as a single web. Anything you edit on one part will directly affect all of the other parts within the memory.

I typically recommend the part that stands out the most if you are trying to heal or resolve a past issue.

For enhancing sensory or conscious awareness, focus on the part that you want to improve, in the situation that you want to improve it in, such as at work, at home, with your kids, in your relationship, while hanging out with friends, etc…

Evaluating Your Self

As you are scanning yourself, it’s important to stay in an observer state.

Watch yourself in your memory as if you are a different person.

Evaluate any and every little detail about your self.

Determine how you want to upgrade your self and your experiences to improve your future.

Every aspect of your experience within a memory can be optimized to improve your real-time experience of life.

Your intention and expectation for the memory

Within every experience, you have an underlying intention or expectation for what you want to occur.

Your emotion for the experience is automatically generated based on the difference between your intention, expectations, and what actually happens.

If you what occurs is less than your expectations, your energy level will drop and your emotion will become negative.

If the experience exceeded your intentions and expectations, your energy level will increase and you will experience positive emotions.

Physiology & Chemistry

Within every memory is information about your physiology and body chemistry.

This can range from your style of breathing, speed of your heartbeat, your level of perspiration, how hungry or thirsty you may feel, your body temperature, and sensations or pains in your body or on your skin.

This could also be information that records how you are currently affected by different types of chemistry such as alcohol, drugs, medicine, stimulants, pain killers, etc…

Your Emotional State

Within every memory are a constant fluctuation of emotional states.

Each section of the memory has a different emotion. Every aspect of the memory has a unique emotion associated with it.

At any time within the memory, you can ask yourself how you feel about any person, interaction, object or environment the memory takes place in.

At different times, the way you feel about the same thing will change. For instance, the way you feel about the environment at the beginning, middle and end of the memory will often be very different.

Emotion is used to indicate your current connection with a person, place or thing as well as any type of interaction within the memory.

By modifying how you feel about the environment at the beginning of a memory, you will automatically change how you feel about the environment at the end of the memory. This same principle will apply to any part of the memory that you edit with the commands.

Any segment of memory that you focus on that has emotion, positive or negative, holds information that can be optimized.

Your thoughts & perspectives

Your thoughts and perspectives are recorded throughout every memory.

The fascinating thing is that your thoughts within a memory will automatically change as you edit your memory.

Thoughts and perspectives are generated as a result of the information stored within the memory. When unhealthy information is removed, the quality of your thoughts and perspectives automatically improve.

At the same time, you can focus on the thoughts and perspectives you had and use the commands.

When you look at the person, environment or object that you had thoughts about, your emotional connection will automatically improve.

Your beliefs and rulesets for life

How have your beliefs and rulesets for life influenced your experience within memory?

Did they support or hinder your experience?

Did they cause conflicts with other people?

Did they provide a perspective to help you resolve conflicts that took place?

Did your ruleset shut down your ability to experience something that you wanted?

Rules for one area of your life don’t necessarily apply to every area of your life. Rules created from trauma often try to apply to your entire life for protection which can sabotage you.

A belief or ruleset is just information.

Your job for evaluating your self is to determine if the information is healthy and serving you or unhealthy and lowering the quality of your experience.

Your communication and expression

The method you use to express yourself and the words you choose while interacting with other people are also stored within your memory.

Every part of your personality and communication can be evaluated within any memory.

You can scan how you communicate and how each interaction makes you feel as you evaluate yourself.

Your style & presentation

The style of your shoes, clothing, jewelry, etc… are all stored within the memory.

Your style is how you present yourself within the memory.

How do you feel about your style? What could be improved in this situation so future events will generate a more powerful experience?

Sensory inputs

Every memory is a powerful sensory experience.

Evaluate your sensory experience within the memory.

How does the lighting affect your mood?

Is the music too quiet, too loud, too abrupt, too distracting or is just right?

What do you feel and think about the food that you are eating? Is this how you want to eat? Does this food make you feel healthy, strong and clean?

What’s that smell? How influential is smell to you? Is your perfume over-powering because your sense of smell is dull?

How does touch affect you? How would you like it to affect you?  Does this person overstep their boundaries with touch? How do you handle this type of a situation?

Motion and Movement

Evaluate how you move, walk, dance and how you use your body to interact with others.

Notice your posture and body positions as you are sitting, standing, or leaning against the counter.

No matter what is happening, your body is always resting in a posture or in motion.

Have you ever taken the time to focus on the range and style of your movement to express yourself?

Your Actions & Interactions

Within every memory are actions you take on your own and interactions you have with other people or objects.

The quality of every single action can be evaluated. Notice how you feel during the execution of each part of the action.

The quality of every interaction with anybody or anything can be evaluated and optimized for future experiences.
